Our customer Sara designed this variation of our Easter Tradition basket for her daughter. Using the same weaving patterns and techniques, we use a wood base to change the basket’s shape to oval.
Your child will cherish this large handwoven traditional Easter basket for many years to come. Utilizing variegated reed of blue, yellow, pink, purple, and green, this basket is made with a strong woven base and features a matching wrapped handle.
This classic basket beautifully demonstrates three different weaving techniques, decorative loops, a double-lashed rim, and an intricately wrapped handle.
Please choose which color you want as your “overlay.” That is color you see running vertically behind all the loops and inside the wrapped handle. These photos show lavender as the overlay color. The last photo shows all of the overlay colors you can choose from. Order this basket according to the overlay color you prefer.

I have a few hand woven baskets in various price ranges, but this basket takes the cake. It’s beautiful! We altered the pattern slightly to make it oval and added a wooden bottom.
